Hi! It's nice to meet you!

In case you don’t know much about me yet, I'm Keeley!

I love anything pastel coloured, I am the lucky Mumma of two cheeky pickles, and I passionately believe that ‘it’s all about the little things’. I am also a jewellery designer and maker. With the help of my little studio buddy Noodles the King Charles Spaniel, I do everything here at Moon & Dusk. If I’m not eating Thai food or messing about with the kids, you’ll find me responding to your emails, making your jewellery, wrapping and boxing your order, and everything else
in-between.

  • Why I Started Making Jewellery

I started Moon & Dusk after enjoying making jewellery for my family and friends during lockdown. With travel restrictions preventing me from being able to see them, I used my handmade jewellery as a thoughtful way to show them I was thinking of them, that I missed them, and to maintain a connection with them despite being so far away. Because of this, connections with my customers, intentional and thoughtful design, and creating an experience that makes someone feel special are at the core fundamentals at the heart of Moon & Dusk.

  • What I Love Making And Why

I design and make comfy, versatile and wearable jewellery, intended to easily match in with your style and existing collection, so every day accessorising is a breeze.
After all, we are all so busy, anything that saves us time in the morning is a win, right?
With comfy designs that you can forget you’re wearing, I try to make pieces that will help you feel pulled together and stylish, but without the fuss.

  • What Is The Driving Force Behind Moon & Dusk

Honestly? It’s you! It might sound like a cliche but it is also the beauty of owning a piece of handmade jewellery.
In contrast to a world of fast fashion and mass produced accessories, each piece of jewellery that I make and design is done with intention, to eventually provide you with something that was yours before you even brought it.

The beauty of a piece of individually crafted handmade jewellery, is knowing that all the things you love about it have been created by the hands of a real person, with the purpose of making you happy. And that connection of having someone work with such thoughtful intention is a really special thing.

Qualifications and Training

One thing you begin to appreciate pretty quickly about jewellery making is that there is always so much more to learn. There are so many techniques and processes it literally takes a life time to work through them. I think I will always be enthusiastic to try and learn new techniques. So far I have been lucky enough to do training in both Silver Clay and traditional silversmithing jewellery making techniques including a 12 month course with the Edinburgh based Silver Clay School, Level 1 & 2 jewellery making and other specialised modules including Mitsuro Hikime wax forming and Sand Casting at the amazing Vanilla Ink Studios in Glasgow.
I have also compled my Diploma in Silver Jewellery with the Jewellers Academy.
I am registered at the Edinburgh Assay Office for Hallmarking
I am a member of the Guild of Jewellery Designers.
